Privacy Policy

1. Summary

MemJog does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data you create — voice recordings, transcripts, and the search index — remains on your device and is never sent to MemJog or any third party.

2. Data we collect

We collect nothing. There is no account, no registration, and no backend.

3. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device, within the app's private sandboxed storage:

• Voice recordings you make
• Transcripts of those recordings
• A search index derived from your transcripts
• App preferences

This data is accessible only to the MemJog app. Deleting the app deletes all of this data permanently.

4. Network requests

MemJog makes one type of network request: downloading the on-device AI transcription model on first launch, from a pinned HTTPS endpoint. The model is verified before use. After this download, the app makes no further network requests during normal operation.

5. Backups

If you use your device's system backup (iCloud, Google Drive), MemJog data may be included according to your device's backup settings. You can also export your data directly to any destination using the in-app export feature. MemJog has no involvement in, or access to, these backups.

6. Third-party services

MemJog does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data broker services.

7. Children

MemJog is not directed at children under 13 (US) or 16 (EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note the change in the app's release notes. Because we collect no data, changes to this policy cannot affect data we already hold (we hold none).
